Dante Is Ready to Leave the PCPD

Outside the Metro Court, Laura surprises Dante with welcome news.

Anna Devane is finally back.

Rather than worrying about what this means for the department, Dante admits he’s relieved.

In fact, he’s ready to hand the commissioner’s job back to Anna and step away from the responsibility altogether.

After everything his family has endured, Dante says his priorities have changed.

He wants to focus on Lulu.

He wants to focus on Rocco.

And he wants to be present for the people who need him most.

Laura understands completely.

After watching Dante fight to protect his son through impossible circumstances, she reminds him that he’s an exceptional father.

Martin Learns the Truth

Shortly after Dante leaves, Martin Grey arrives back in Port Charles following his trip to Reno.

At first, he jokes that Laura becoming mayor must have been a lucky break.

Laura quickly corrects him.

It wasn’t luck.

Jenz Sidwell manipulated events behind the scenes to push her into the position because he wanted to separate her from her brother during his larger scheme.

Martin is stunned.

His frustration only grows when Laura reveals that Sonny Corinthos also played a role in helping her navigate the crisis.

Laura Has a New Favor to Ask

Martin also learns that Sidwell is now awaiting trial for murder.

Despite that major victory, Laura explains that Kevin Collins and Ace Cassadine still can’t safely return home.

Ace has already been enrolled in summer classes in Dublin while they wait for things to settle.

Determined to help however he can, Martin asks Laura what she needs.

Her answer is immediate.

She wants him to represent a friend facing a difficult legal situation.

With so many Port Charles residents dealing with investigations, arrests, and WSB fallout, Martin may soon find himself handling another high-profile case.

Molly Faces a Career-Defining Choice

Elsewhere, District Attorney Justine Turner meets with Molly Lansing-Davis to discuss Sidwell’s prosecution.

Because of her personal involvement in the case, Justine believes there’s now a conflict of interest.

She wants Molly to take over.

The assignment would instantly become the biggest prosecution of Molly’s career.

There is just one complication.

Her long-planned book tour is about to begin.

Justine lays out the difficult reality.

Molly can either prosecute one of the most important murder cases Port Charles has ever seen…

Or honor her existing professional commitments.

Recognizing the magnitude of the decision, Molly asks for one day to think it over.

Justine Reflects on Sonny

Before they part ways, the conversation turns to Sonny Corinthos.

Molly is surprised that Sonny somehow managed to neutralize two enemies at once.

Sidwell…

And Justine herself.

Justine admits that when she first arrived in Port Charles, she fully intended to bring Sonny down.

Somewhere along the way, however, everything changed.

Now, their relationship has become far more complicated than either of them ever expected.

As General Hospital moves into its next chapter, Dante prepares for a quieter life with his family, Martin steps into another legal battle, and Molly faces a decision that could define her future. Meanwhile, Sidwell’s upcoming murder trial promises to become one of the biggest courtroom showdowns Port Charles has seen in years.
