Jon Bon Jovi once suggested marriage to his longtime girlfriend Dorothea Hurley so suddenly that they flew to Las Vegas without even packing rings. It was April 29, 1989, and the rock star was in the middle of a tour stop in Los Angeles when he pitched the idea. Dorothea thought he was crazy at first, but she agreed.
