A Los Angeles judge dismissed sex trafficking and sexual battery claims against Christina Karam, the woman who served as Sean “Diddy”Combs’ chief of staff for over a decade, on June 9th, 2026. The judge ruled that the accuser failed to prove Karam knew about any alleged abuse or that she profited from it. Legally, this particular round goes in her favor. But Karam, widely known as KK, remains a central figure in a web of lawsuits tied to Combs, and investigators have now publicly labeled her a potential co-conspirator in his federal case.
That designation marks a significant shift, as federal prosecutors, for the first time, referred to Karam as an“agent”or“co-conspirator”during a court proceeding, according to reports. Their language also implied she may have reached an agreement with prosecutors and could testify against her former boss. Karam has never given a single interview about any of these allegations. She hasn’t appeared on podcasts or sat down with journalists.
Everything known about her role comes from court filings, lawsuits, and public statements, which is exactly why speculation around her continues to build. She joined Combs’ team in 2013 and worked her way up to chief of staff, a position that went far beyond managing calendars. She oversaw his business empire, contracts, and schedule while simultaneously handling the most private aspects of his personal life. She stayed in that role until 2024, and why she left at that exact moment remains publicly unknown.
Combs himself repeatedly confirmed her importance. At the 2022 BET Awards, he thanked her publicly by name, and on Facebook, he told millions of followers he couldn’t function without her. That level of closeness led to a striking comparison inside an actual courtroom. In March 2024, music producer Rodney“Lil Rod”Jones filed a lawsuit that directly called Karam Diddy’s Ghislaine Maxwell, referring to Jeffrey Epstein’s closest associate, who is currently serving a prison sentence for her role in his crimes.
Since that lawsuit, Karam has been named in three separate cases connected to Combs. In October 2024, a man named Ashley Parham filed a suit claiming Karam personally threatened him directly. Phil Pines, who worked as Combs’ executive assistant from 2019 to 2021, filed his own lawsuit in December 2024, alleging that part of his job involved stocking hotel rooms with baby oil, red lights, and supplies for what Combs reportedly called“wild king nights. ””Pines also claimed Combs once pressured him into a sexual act while Combs allegedly watched.
That exact claim about being pressured while Combs watched is the specific allegation a judge later found unsupported when it came to Karam herself. In her first public statement, issued in March 2025, Karam denied all accusations against her, calling them completely false and saying they caused lasting damage to her reputation and her family. Combs’ legal team has backed that denial across every lawsuit filed so far, maintaining none of the events occurred as described. Karam has never been criminally charged with anything, even as the federal government now refers to her as a co-conspirator.
Meanwhile, Combs’ prison release date has been pushed back repeatedly, with the most recent update moving it to February 23rd, 2028. Separately, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has confirmed it is reviewing a new battery case against Combs, tied to allegations from publicist Jonathan Hay about incidents in 2020 and 2021. If prosecutors file felony charges, Combs could remain behind bars well past 2028, anda case like that would almost certainly pull more names from his inner circle into the spotlight.
