Peace Finally Settles Over Port Charles… but Is This the CALM Before the Next STORM? Ava and Nina Bury the Hatchet Just in Time for the Holidays

Friends Forever

Right now, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) needs all the friends she can get. In the name of protecting her daughter, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), she will throw almost anybody under the bus. She just did it to Portia (Brook Kerr). And she ALMOST did it to Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Charlotte (Bluesy Burke).

But she stopped herself. However, she got what she wanted – the evidence of Willow driving near Drew’s the night of the shooting was thrown out of the trial. What will Jack (Chris McKenna) do once he finds out that Nina didn’t follow through with their deal?

Meanwhile, Nina has been angry with Ava (Maura West) for 1) Blabbing the details of Nina’s betrayal to Portia. And 2) Attempting to engineer a peace summit between her and Portia. Both women felt ambushed and walked out on the gallery owner. Perhaps Nina realizes how flawed she is and that she shouldn’t judge others for their actions. Needless to say, look for Ava and Nina to reconcile, which is great because Nina probably needs to vent.

Perplexed in Port Charles

Curtis (Donnell Turner) must be confused as to why Portia (Brook Kerr) refused to go home with him and Trina (Tabyana Ali) from the hospital. The father and daughter wanted to care for her. However, upon reflection, Portia realized that she didn’t feel it was the right thing to do. Currently, Curtis believes a friend is supporting her in her hotel room.

Portia is, once again, lying. She’s in Isaiah’s cabin, where he can take care of her. And he’ll do this whether it’s his baby or not. Portia looked mighty cozy with Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), as if she knew she made the correct choice. This leaves Curtis to update Jordan (Tanisha Harper), probably wondering what’s going on with his soon-to-be ex.

Giving Gifts, Offering Advice, and Lending an Ear

It is the holidays in PC. It’s the time of giving. Expect Jason (Steve Burton) and Danny (Asher Antonyzyn) to come bearing gifts. Let’s hope that, despite Drew’s behavior and viciousness, Danny and Scout (Cosette Abinante) will be able to see each other. Forget the gifts, this brother and sister need to see each other. Will it happen?

And while Emma (Braedyn Bruner) confides in Trina (Tabyana Ali), look for Tracy (Jane Elliot) to counsel Cody (Josh Kelly). In the Friday preview for next week, Tracy tells Cody, “Take a chance. Go for it.” She may be telling him to take a risk and ask Molly (Kristen Vaganos) out. Those two just can’t seem to get on the same page at the same time. But if they talked to each other, they would realize that they are indeed on the same page.

If they would just talk, everything would simply fade away, including his moment with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) at the Brown Dog. So if this is what Cody discusses with Tracy, should he try again with Molly?
