Young and the Restless fans, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has been gone for a long, long time, but for what? She’s technically still married to her brother’s ex-girlfriend Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and is recovering in Boston, away from her wife and daughter Aria. Too bad her brother Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) does not have a clue what’s waiting for him.
Who knows what condition and mindset Mariah will be in when she returns to Genoa City? She and Tessa have totally grown apart. In fact, Tessa already has another love interest, and that interest is not a woman; he’s a he, and he’s Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei).
Yes, Mariah tried to kill someone who resembled Ian Ward (Ray Wise), but she didn’t actually do it. Yes, the woman for sure needs some counseling, but who DOESN’T in and out of Genoa City?

So here’s where it gets messy. Mariah Copeland is going to return home to find her wife falling in love with a dude. Of course, Mariah will be introduced to Noah’s girlfriend Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun), who is also married. Sienna isn’t married to a woman; she’s married to a man with two identities, with one of them tied back to when Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) first got together all of those years ago.
What if Mariah and Sienna meet and they bond? What if they bond and maybe MORE? Will Mariah’s history of falling for her brother’s girlfriends repeat itself? What’s next for Noah on Y&R?
There is just so much to unpack here. Mariah’s pending angst when she learns about who her wife has last locked lips with. Neither Mariah nor Noah knows yet what turmoil the other has just experienced. Sienna is going to need some counseling, whether she stays with Noah, explores things with Mariah without intention, or goes back to L.A., where she has nothing left since her husband Mitch Bacall/Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) was completely wiped out by The Almighty Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
