Dani finally admitted to Vanessa what happened between her and Bill in that elevator on the night of the tornado, a confession that instantly changed the entire dynamic of the story. Vanessa’s reaction was especially interesting because instead of simply judging Dani, she immediately focused on the bigger danger.

The show seems to be quietly positioning her as a possible game-changer in Eva’s survival story. Chelsea acting as a sounding board for her cousin only made me more suspicious that Kat could be connected to the miracle everyone is hoping for.
