Owens also alleged that an audio clip of Charlie played at America Fest, in which he appeared to appoint Erica to lead TPUSA if something happened to him, was AI generated. She said the more she listened,the more AI it sounded,and noted TPUSA had never released the alleged source video, with a visible day counter on her set tracking how long the organization had refusedto do so.
She claims still not been independently verifiedy Owens has further alleged widespread financial fraud at TPUSA under Erica’s leadership,claiming millions of dollars were funneled into LLCs with her name on them. Turning Point USA has denied every part of the claim. Blake Neff, responding publicly, called the allegations of financial impropriety“not true” and said what staff had endured was“evil. ” In April 2026, Erica pulled out of a TPUSA event with Vice President J.
D. Vance citing security threats. Owens responded on X in a post that drew 3. 8 million views, alleging the real reason was poor ticket sales.
She noted the Secret Service sits above the security team and that viable threats would not have allowed the vice president to continue. Videos from inside the arena showed rows of empty seats. Owens followed that with an accusation that TPUSA doctored its own event footage, splicing together three separate past events to hide the empty room from donors. The 23rd tape came after the White House Correspondents Dinner shooting, when Erica posted a viral emotional video.
Owens alleged that roughly an hour after the shooting, the White House Military Office sent an email actively amplifying Erica’s video.
